Disarm the threat and remain still

Safe guard with sterile thoughtfulness 

Frontline protectors devoted to care

Gratitude on high alert

Souls taken but not forgotten

Sadness at memories not formed

Missing family, friends, but not all

Selected relationships treasured

Give thanks to technology 

IT gurus keep us at work

And preserves us in life’s afar

Where humor and fears are shared

Time reframed into new activity

Commuting hours into healthy living

Declutter of space and mind 

Resurrected projects 

New talents explored

Liberation with learning 

Nature joys in less polluted times 

Stunning sunrises and sunsets

Starlight  is star bright 

Morning choruses of visiting birds

Thrilled with seasonal delights

New norms will prevail

Anxieties exist

But we will  adapt and survive

For wonderment and science exists
